Algae and moss are almost never problems for venus flytraps. VFTs are relatively big plants, and the only way moss could harm one is if the vft is very very small, otherwise it is practically impossible.

Regarding the terrarium idea, it is possible, but I don't recommend it under most circumstances. I have one in a terrarium on my windowsill so it still gets dormancy and good sunlight, but I would never try to grow a vft in a sealed terrarium under artificial lights.
