Hello, I’m a new monkey cup plant( Nepenthes hub) owner just arrived in the mail! I don’t know much about these plants! It arrived in a box and the pitchers have no fluid in them! Should I put distilled water in them and if so how much? Also should I report it? Is this the one that is supposed to be in full light or what? I want this plant to live! I will also be keeping it indoors for the most part! Will probably bring it outdoors for a little during the day!
Thank you for all help!

Looks like a ventrata. I'll warn you, these things grow like weeds, they will get huge.

I'm very rough on my Ventrata, it sees high 30's in the spring and fall, direct sunlight 8 hours a day in the summer, even in high heat and I water it with 150+ ppm tap water. I didn't even acclimate it this spring, just threw it outside, looks like crap but still growing like a weed, another month or so it will look like a different plant.

If that were my plant I would slowly acclimate it to outdoor living in direct sunlight.
