The seeds arrived unmolested. Addressing the envelope vertically instead of horizontally really seems to help. They didn't even hand cancel this stamp.

If you address the envelope in the top orientation and include extra postage, the machines can't process it and it has to be hand sorted. You need to be sure to include extra postage or it will get returned. I buy a sheet of non-machineable stamps at the post office but you can use 2 forever stamps.
