Hello, I decided to experiment and put my leaf cuttings out when was around -5C out at nights and +1 -10C for 2 months and now temperatures rising to 17C and they look like in the photos attached. To my mind they look kinda saying goodbye to me.

-5 C is pretty cold for a flytrap. Was the soil frozen hard in the morning?

Most of them appear to have new leaves on the way, so don't give up on them.

I never checked but seems some days were even less than -5C. And those leaves seems like frozen in time because not opening

That is freeze damage. You might get lucky if it didn't get down to the rhizome. I leave mine out in that kind of weather but I always mulch it with a pile of leaves on top of it. I don't remove the leaves until the temps are above freezing. In the wild, the plants would be protected under a layer of the grasses that would grow up over the summer. If your temps are still below freezing then I would mulch them until it warms up.

Based on what I can see in the photos, they will all survive just fine. They will likely lose or mostly lose most of their foliage, but I can see the new growth doesn't look terribly affected, so it should continue to grow. Avoid freezing and frost if at all possible.

Instead of hijacking someone else's thread, just make a new one yourself asking this question. Thread hijacking is very disrespectful to the OP

I don't think they are hurt. If they are going to be exposed to more freezing or close to freezing temperatures, I would suggest covering them with pine needles or some other kind of mulch.
