Thanks Grant! I was growing this guy under lights this spring. When I moved to Ashland and put him outside, he never really recovered. I'm hoping for some good colors from him next year.

Anything in the 6500k range will work. Wal-mart sells 2 packs of "cool white" T8 bulbs that fit a standard shop light fixture for $10. That's what I use for most of my plants. When I first got lights, I spent a little extra money for some really expensive ones ($15 for each bulb). I won't do that again. The cheap ones seem to work just fine. You might have slightly healthier plants under the expensive bulbs, but is it really worth the extra $10 per bulb? Personally, I don't think so.
