I'm not exactly sure which "recipe" you are referring to. I will say that in the beginning I used the protocol that is available on this site. From there I have been experimenting with a lot of different variables to see what works best at what stage of culture for each plant. Remember still that I've only been doing this for 1 year.

A few days later on the 'Sawtooth' callus

I think this seed grown is gonna be BIG. Also, all of the cilia are irregular. I know this could change, but it's interesting.

Got tired of fighting the battle with bacteria in the red clones so I planted all of them out. I tried to count them, but I gave up, lol. Also, planted out my first batch of known cultivars ('Vigorous')

Inspiring pics!Got my labarea set up and Dionaea seed are next. I live in South Africa and we have quite a few endangered aloes.Want to ask Rellenburg what procedure did you follow regarding surface sterilisation of that Aloe? Ive tried a few,but those which do not become contaminated become stunted.I can see their still alive,but no new growth.I used 4mg/L BAP,0.2mg/L NAA and full strength M/S. I used meristematic tissue on all acounts,but still nothing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier about the aloe. I'll have to check my notes to see what I used. I haven't really done anything with them in quite a while.

This pic is of a 'Vigorous' stalk that I almost tossed thinking it was a goner.
