Hi, I Switched my Sarracenia's Pot a few weeks ago, and the past 2 days I noticed a strange growth in my plant.
.. Some are growing round (not straight up - as seen in the picture) .. and some with sort of a 'big belly'..
Also - is it because new ones are growing that others are getting brown and dying?

Hi

It is normal for last years pitches to go brown and die back at this time of year so dont worry if they are last years pitchers, also the big belly is the ala of the leaf, again perfectly normal in spring in some species of sarracenia. As the plant looks like a hybrid it could have inherited the trait from one of its parents. If it continues to produce large ala after spring time, it could be that it isnt getting enough light.
From what I can see the plant looks OK but there doesnt seem to be as much new growth as there should be at this time of year, maybe it needed the repotting and will do well now.

Cheers
Steve

Most of mine do this too, but I don't think they're not getting enough sunlight(I live in Arizona) and they pretty much get full sun all day except for dawn and sunset I guess, but most of the leaves are coming up like this still :|

Yes, it is a bit windy, they always have sunlight all day long and humidity is high here in Malta... And yes, I bought them about two months ago

I didn't know sarracenia were sensitive to wind! I have mine up on my balcony and the past week its been a bit windy and noticed the tips of them getting dry! Good to hear that they acclimate though :) What beautiful and strong plants they are!
