I'm concerned about all my plants and wondering if I need to treat with a systemic. Lots of my plants are putting up very skinny, tall pitchers some of which are deformed. Any advice appreciated. All are in about 1.5-3" of water. Should I be changing out my water? Treat them with a systemic?

Just look it over really good. Sap suckers don't leave unless something dies. If you got it early, on such a small plant, you could manually kill it pretty easily. I rub my finger over the growth every day or other day for a week.

Have u tested that set up? black pots in black tub suspended by wood? Looks so hot.

I'm new to all this. I think having them off the ground will help with airflow. Do you have recommendations on temperature tolerances?

White or light colored pots help keep the heat down a little. Maybe try not to bunch them next to each other to increase air flow. Small solar powered fan maybe?

the black absorbs the full spectrum of light making it hotter. wood will not really transfer heat to the ground. thats why a wood deck will burn your feet in the summer.
