VFT on a stalk?

I thought this guy was putting out a flower stalk pretty early, but it sure looked kind of odd to me. Then it unfolded leaves and some had traps on them. I guess this one isn't interested in letting polinators get away for free.... :)

Nice! That's false vivipary, you can search this forum and see numerous examples of it. You just treat the VFT on the stalk as a leaf pulling until it grows roots. You can wait till after you get seeds or you can take it now.
