For the next week I will have to keep my sarracenia, darlingtonia and dionaea in my garage as I am getting a new greenhouse. However, there are only normal lighting fixtures in the garage which are labelled polylux XLR FT8 58W 840
The data on these lights can be found here: http://catalog.gelighting.com/lamp/line ... =0/?r=emea.
They seem to have ~5000lumens and I have 4 of them
Just wondered if these lights would provide any energy for the plants at all whilst they are in the garage? Max day time temp just now is 10 celcius and night time about 4 celcius. None of the plants are beginning to put on growth yet so still dormant. There are only a couple of sarracenia whose flowers are just starting to emerge from the rhizome
