Hi Guys!!
So I'm ordering the following sundew seeds--
[15:21, 09/06/2017] Amita: D.serpens
D.burmanii "g.keledang:
D.burmanii "humpty doo"
D.capillaria "long leaf"
D.Nidiformis
D.Spathulata
D.Natalensis
D.Alicae
D.Adelae
D.Natalensis
D.Spatulata "tamboon"
D.auriculata

I have also ordered 3kgs of live sphagnum. I have attached it's picture.
Does this live sphagnum look good for sowing these seeds?
If I microwave the sphagnum for 1 minute will it be dead and won't overgrow the seedlings?
Or can I use it without microwaving it?
Also, for much time do I need to soak the live sphagnum in water to make it wet for seeds?

Regards

I don't know if the microwave will kill it all. I suspect it will. You don't want to sow those seeds in live sphag. The sphag will totally cover up any seeds that germinate. You need dead sphag.

Yea, no to live lfsm, even if they do germinate, they will blend in with the moss.
