Has anyone done this? I have a mini bog out on my porch (the whiskey barrel design lifted from this forum) with a handful of flytraps and sarrs in it. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on my likelihood of success if I were to sow a mix of vft, sarr, and drosera seeds in it.

I am not particularly attached to the outcome, just interested in trying something new.

I dont see why you would have any problems unless the seeds are bad.

I spread some sarracenia, and temperate drosera seeds in mine outside last fall so they could stratify and some VFTs just a few weeks ago. The sarracenia have germinated but I haven't seen any others yet. They may be too small still for me to notice them.

A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in--what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.
