I'm looking for a pot that's fairly wide but not very deep, the sort of thing people usually put bog gardens in, but I want it to be square or rectangular for space-saving purposes. So far, all I've found are three-foot windowboxes and square pots that are far too tall for my purposes. Anyone know where I can get a pot like that? I'm about ready to build one out of Legos, but that might take quite a lot of Legos.

I tried Amazon, but just about everything I can find is either too small, too big, or a weird decorative thing that's probably made of something the plants wouldn't like. Or some combination of those things.
This is the closest thing I could find: https://www.amazon.com/Novelty-36108-Sq ... ow+planter but it's a bit too small. I want to have a small jungle of VFTs, so I'm guessing I'll need something like a 7" deep planter to keep their roots happy, and I need more than a 10" square.

(Amazon link posted not as an advertisement or a review, just as an example)

Ok this is what I found on a quick search.

https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Pots-Big-F ... re+planter

This one is sort of like an orchid pot.
https://www.amazon.com/Aquatic-Deep-Squ ... re+planter

This one you could drill drain holes in.
https://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-Veranda- ... QJ93QQBYZ6

And a larger mesh one.

After that I would start looking into plastic totes. They may not be as eye appealing but functionality may out way that.
Good luck with your search.

Couple of good pots in the suggestions, thanks.
I already have one of those aquatic plant pots. I suppose I could line it with sphagnum or something to keep everything inside. Definitely an option to consider, especially since it'd probably have great aeration.
I might just look into fairly neat-looking storage containers, though. I'm sure I can find something reasonably stylish.
Or possibly just laser-cut a sheet of acrylic into the right shapes and glue a pot together. What would be some safe glues to use? I have Gorilla glue and Superglue on hand, and I can get something else if needed.

I found that ebay usually has good pots. I've even been able to find the type of clear pots I was looking for (to grow things in live LFS)
