I had recently moved this plant indoors for the winter and it started to go brown! Now these were old leads but the stem has a sort of weird pattern on it too. The main plant is growing normally. I suspect it’s shock but just wanted to make sure.

That looks like rot to me. Leaf die off tends to start with the pitcher and work it's way down the leaf towards the stem, drying out as it proceeds. Those leaves and stems look like the are still moist but have turned black. Don't act solely on my word, but it may be time to cut the growth point with a little bit of stem attached and try rooting it.
