Sup all, i've been keeping an eye out for a second hand electric pressure cooker

are there any features i need to have when i find one? like custom temperature control, pressure control etc

i'm currently looking at this cooker http://www.kuchef.com.au/product-catego ... ooker.html
it looks like it only has options for steaming, browning, and other presets, would this be OK?

What PSI does it run at? I downloaded the manual, but couldn't find that information in there. If it operates at 15 PSI, it will work great.

The quick start guide mentions 60 KPA (or around 9 psi )

So i've been looking around, i haven't been able to find an electic pressure cooker (even a less-cheap one) rated at 15 PSI

is it necessary?

I believe so. I think at 15 PSI, all mold spores will be crushed and destroyed. Anything lower and they might survive. But you wouldn't get 100% contamination, so it isn't absolutely necessary. It would just mean that you would probably lose some percentage of cultures.

I don't know what might happen at a higher PSI. It might destroy the integrity of the media and hormones, making the plants grow less well.
