This is the best beginner book on TC. About half of the book is recipes for media of all kinds of plants, from orchids, woody plants, ornamentals, fruit trees etc. There are no recipes for carnivorous plants but those are available online. The best part is it's section on media components and media preparation. Things like the function of Auxins and Cytokinins.and the use of different Auxin/Cytokinin ratios is extremely helpful. This should be the first book you read about TC.
