Yeah, didn't think this trap would fully form, but here are some (fuzzy) pics of a strange mutated trap, with half of it being two traps and the other half being one.

It probably just some kind of mutation which happens to evryone's plants once in a while! Nothing to worry about!

That's a very interesting and fairly common growth anomaly, as are leaves with two fully formed traps. Here's a couple of anomalous traps on my plants a couple years ago--

Matt's guess is right-- the all-green plant in both photos I posted is a Justina Davis.

Occasionally someone will try to sell a Venus Flytrap with weird leaves or traps that are really just a normal, occasional anomaly. As soon as that particular leaf dies, the subsequent leaves will very probably look like they usually do. I'm sure that there are some people ignorant of that fact that buy the plants at an unrealistically high price.
