I'd like to thank (and curse) optique for his latest donation. He has shared 80+ pods for a Nepenthes cross he did because he was bored. Let's all welcome N. boschiana "BE-3643" x sanguinea "Orange".
I'm cursing his name because I'm separating each pod out into a pack to finish drying as the last one turned into a challenge to retrieve the seeds from the bottom of a ziploc. However, I'm not cursing him bad because I love this job! I'm using Mormon curses like "heck", "shoot", "fetch", and "cheese and rice!". It's really almost comical.
He indicated in a post that, due to the number of pods, and their short shelf life, these seeds should be available as a bonus from the get go. And so they shall.
Optique, thank you for your continued generosity.
These seeds are immediately available to all eligible members.

Edit: Final count was 102 pods. Dang!

Fantastic donation, too!!!!!! Everybody oughta be able to get something happening from optiques donation!!! YEEHAWWWW!!!!!!! (and I don't say that lightly!!!!<grin>)

Some info on the parents

Momma is a big girl, Hugh in fact. tendrils can be 3 feet long. She enjoys warm nights, I don't take her outside till its 60F.

Daddy is a big too, grows like a weed and can take any temperature range.

The pods are drying nicely and I think you'll be happy. I checked one, and the first six things to drop out looked spectacular.
If you're wanting to get a pod, do a little research to give these the best chance you can.
