To divide Sarracenia rhizomes, I use kitchen shears and a very sharp pruning knife. I try to do individual crowns whenever possible, but some of these are packed in really tight. I'm curious to see how many plants I can get from the 3 root balls (if Harris Seeds will ever get around to shipping my pots!).

I broke my two bags up into 9 pots. Several of those had multiple GPs up to 2-3. Lots of bonus live sphagnum too. I did have one mystery growth in one bag. Ideas? On the right.

I finally found time to divide the plants today. Here is the first pot that I tackled:
