I hate them growing in aquatic bladderworts tanks, and they are very annoying when swoing seeds - if they form on the soil's surface, they overwhelm seeds or slow down the germination proccess. Try to use a sprinkler, sprayed water disunites the algae's thallus, and after the seeds have germinated they're not a problem anymore.
