I saw this split tip on a FTC seed bank d. filiformis Dreamsicle OP2 seedling. Sorry for the bad photo, but each side of the plant has stalks and glands growing. Is this something that just occasionally happens? Thought it was kind of odd.

I had made some leaf cuttings from a d. tracyi earlier in the day. As I was cutting sections from the leaves I got to the tip of one that I thought had split from me handling it or something. After discovering this one growing on the dreamsicle it got me wondering.

It happens occasionally. I currently have a bifurcation on the flower stalk of my filiformis "FR, WF".

I walked into the plant room and saw this leaf waving at me this evening...a clone from a d. florida giant x tracyi. :)
