Hi,
My D.ordensis is not doing well. The trap isn’t growing much, and the leaves are turning yellow from the bottom. Do you know how to help it?
He is growing it in a clear container with lights and a fan. The temperature in the space ranges from 25 to 40 degrees Celsius. It’s around 35°C during the day and 25°C at night on average. The humidity is between 70% to 85%, although sometimes it drops to 50%, but I think that’s a sensor error. The light is on for 15 hours a day. When humidity exceeds 90%, the fan brings in outside air.
The soil consists of gravel and sphagnum moss. I don’t water it much; I keep the surface dry.
I’m also growing D.paradoxa in the same container, and it’s very healthy. I occasionally water it at the bottom of the pot.
I bought it labeled as ‘ordensis, v w l, yellow,’ but it’s not becoming ‘very wide leaf.’
thanks
