My Home Depot Nepenthes has been struggling for the past month or two but it has been looking really good lately and a pitcher is finally forming Image

Good job! You've got to be feeling pretty good about yourself right now.

I know you will probably do this anyway, but I have to ask, your going to show off that pitcher once it's bigger, right?

Nice. I know I was so excited when my first Lowe's Nep started popping out pitchers.

Update:

The pitcher is still closed but is getting bigger. I think it is a basal, and it is producing two new pitchers! Image

Make it three!

And the sphagnum it's in looks burnt and bad but it is still working. Probably gonna repot in some new better moss soon. I have to use cold water right now because there is a bit of a heat wave here in Orange County.

I also got my nepenthes from Home depot (and a sarracenia from lowes). Mine was already pretty grown up, and currently has 8 pretty healthy pitchers. I know mine is a ventrata, but yours looks kinda different. Image
Good luck! It's exciting to watch them grow!
