I mostly grow Sundews, but I would advise against it.
I prefer LEDs after years of using fluorescents.
They use less electricity.
They produce more light.
They produce less heat for you to dissipate.
I use something like this with a homemade reflector.
Uses 14 watts, produces 1500 lumens.
Works well with my Drosera regia & scorpioides tank.

thanks man so this will be good for one or two plants? i have a desk lamp and wanna put that bulb in it and use it to put over the plants or plants on my desk the lamp is adjustable to lean forward or however

I have two bulbs in a 12 x 20 reflector. They fit over a 10 gallon aquarium. I have 2 one gallon pots in there and 3 or 4 smaller pots.

It all depends on your reflector shape. A typical desk lamp reflector will focus your light in one spot. That's good for one pot.

I keep the light within 6 inches of the plants.
