Hi everyone,
I am just starting out with Carnivorous plants. I have killed a few Venus flytraps (not sure why). I have a Monkey cup plant I just got and I hope I don't kill it too. I welcome any good advice or ideas. San Diego coastal doesn't get many mosquitoes so we leave the doors open with no screens and I'm unscientifically thinking they 'frighten' off the flies that do come in.

I'll post my dying/dead/dormant Flytraps if anyone would like to let know their thoughts on their demise in the care section.

Welcome to the forum.
We've all killed FlyTraps.
We learn from each mistake and try not to repeat them.
There are a lot of nice people here in the community.
