Hi All
I'm in need of advice, rescued a ping from local garden centre, have had it few months now and its divided and now forming a flower.
I have never cared for a ping b4 and was wondering should I repot/divide her now or wait till flower ends,so much info on internet but thought id ask some experts.

Try to shake all that gravel off the top, it probably leaches minerals. As long as the rest of the soil looks okay and is a suitable mixture, they should be fine until they're done flowering.

You could divide but why spoil it now? I'd leave it alone, it's clearly thriving. The gravel looks like the aquarium stuff so it won't leach anything, and Mexican butterworts don't mind some lime anyway; some people add some dolomite to their mix! It's easiest to wait till it goes into succulent mode in the fall-winter. Some don't do that, instead just producing smaller leaves, but they're still easier to deal with then. It's probably the hybrid "Tina," but without a "full frontal" view of the open flower it's hard to say.
