Should pitcher plants sit in a tray of water ? I keep mine moist and In the sun , but one or 2 of the pitchers got dried out and weird , so I cut them off ...... any pitcher plant tips ?

They are going to dry out faster outside. If it's a new plant it may loos pitchers as it adjusts to its new new environment.
