So, I went to the ICPS website and went into their registered cultivars page looking for a certain cultivar or verifying if maybe it isn't registered. I know I have several plants that are named but not registered by the ICPS. After going through the various genera, it looks like the newest ones are from around 2014. I checked a newly named cultivar from an ICPS Journal from last year and it wasn't on the list. Does it take this list a while to get updated? I know there are people on the forums that have been in the hobby longer than me. Maybe someone knows the answer? I'm trying to keep a decent record of my plants and I don't want to mark a plant down as a registered cultivar if it isn't.

Well there's such thing as an unregistered cultivar, which is the same as a cultivar except it's unofficial.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think there is just one individual who adds new cultivars to the database. I haven't heard whether or not he's updated the database since 2014.
