I bought my VFT (Fang) from a local hard wear store a few months ago and I love him so much! Just wondering if i am doing everything right with its care, does it look okay? Or should its traps be red?

It looks pretty healthy to me, good job! Most windowsill grown fly traps I've seen tend to not color as much as if the plant was grown outside in full sun. One of the sacrifices you face when you grow indoors. Also some varieties of fly traps don't color as well as others, because of genetics.

Keep up the good work!

Oh good, thanks :)

He primarily stays inside at night time, and then during the day I put him outside in full sun (the only reason i do this is because i have 2 dogs and i don't want them to break it).

I've heard moving them around too much isn't good though…
