I know that Primuliflora, Planifolia, and Ionatha can grow in pure Live Sphagnum moss nearly submerged in water. However, should I grow Caerula, Lutea, and Pumila in Live Sphagnum as well but with just a lower water table than the other 3 or should I use a different media choice?

The pumila that grow here in my area grow in sandy loamy soil. Here is a pic or two with them growing in and around sphagnum but the roots are in the soil not the sphagnum.

Bonjour

I grow these 6 subtropicale US ping in blond peat/river sand 30/70

but these 6 have not the same cultivate condition

for the primuliflora-planifolia-ionantha no problem with the water , it can even be immersed in the spring

for the others 3 I prefer to have a wet substrate without more.
