They're a bit bigger than I thought, and, with a bit of eggcrate in the bottom, they hold peat mixes or LFS easily. Looks nice enough. I also planted a couple of tiny flytraps sticking out of the top holes in the sides to see how they do and how their traps grow.

These are really nice and durable hydroponics pots at a larger size so I don't think $1 each is unusual. Even the flimsiest #1 "gallon" nursery pots are still 30 cents each, and good ones probably 50 cents.
