Hi guys this is a discussion about underrated nepenthes , and they need more recognition the nepenthes that I think are underrated are the starter plants, so name any species, hybrid, or whatever you guys can name.

N. ramispina - easy to grow and has really unique pitcher coloration (dark exterior, lime green interior.)
N. ephippiata - always overshadowed by it's better known cousin, N. lowii and I find the pitcher shape more pleasing.
N. pervillei - Perhaps not so much underrated as just unknown. The species has really unique vase-like pitchers but I hardly ever see anyone talk about it, probably because it's considered hard to grow and it also grows in the Seychelles so it's rarely viewed in the wild.

In regards to species, N. khasiana and N. gracilis, they are just nice species. N. rowanae is one I would also call underrated, but it is not really in cultivation, except for a few collections.

In regards to hybrids, I would say N. spathulata x singalana, I've really been loving mine recently, and have been showing it off a bunch

They are all nice plants, these hybrids and species need more recognition

I'd say N. sanguinea and ventricosa. They're often known as 'beginner plants' because the common clones can tolerate lowland or highland conditions but I still think they are nice plants.

I say that it's pretty sad that these species and hybrids are pushed to the side for another plant
