I'm going to get a nep but I want a relatively fast growing nep! Which one? I will give it as much light as I can. I don't care if it's a highlander or lowlander as I live somewhere in the intermediate zone (Pretty sure).
Advantages/Disadvantages:
Ampullaria: Cheap and cute, but doesnt make pitchers on vines
Bicalcarata: Stunning, but a bit expensive
Mirabilis: Cheap, a bit boring
Gracilis: Cheap, a bit boring
Gracilis "Squat": Cheap and cute, a bit boring
Rafflesiana: Can be found locally, a bit boring
Hemsleyana: Cool and cheap, I hate bats
Globosa: Cool, a bit boring

Go with the bicalcorata and raffelsiana they low landers so they take 80 to 90 degrees in the day and night don't let the temperature get below 70 degrees and carnivores plant nursery will have there bicalcoratas in stock soon I think but they have them 25 dollars for a typical , small bical, and for the red form 45 dollars, same goes for the raffelsiana, and raffelsiana does not look boring to me the adult pitchers are a bit toothy just search a picture on google. Also nepnthes Miranda , and ventrata grow like weeds, they grow really fast.

Hmm... the rafflesiana I see here are different, the traps are much more "triangle" shaped, and the teeth are longer (It poked my finger once and I started bleeding). Unfortunately, I don't have a pic of my old rafflesiana that I can show you.

I know for a fact that they are clones from stem cuttings that the nursery does.

Yeah also some pictures of nepenthes raffelsiana on google some pithers of the plant have more toothy characteristics and then other pithers on another plant
