What seems to be helping mine (I've grown it in a variety of different conditions) is high humidity, lots of light (I use LEDs) and temperatures on the cooler side. Also not sure if this helps, but it gets a nightly temperature drop. I basically grown mine with my highlands and it LOVES IT. It was struggling so much before; now though it's has tons of dew, fantastic color and is getting bigger.

Haha. No worries man. I'm pretty easy going. I was just confused by what you said is all. But yeah I do have a bit of buyers remorse as I'm most comfortable with nepenthes. But when you live an hour away from

Grow them in semi to highland conditions. Keep roots cool, do not allow them to overheat. I water mine with cold water. If growing in live sphag, it is not necessary to keep the pot in standing water. Me, I grow all of my regia in 8:1:1 perlite, sand and peat. Tray method day and night 24/7 with a 10 degree drop at night. Excessive humidity not needed for very heavy dew production (bear in mind that is for my particular growing conditions). I grow mine under 600 watt leds.
