For Christmas I got some new Danas Delights they were doing fine then new pitcher started sprouting. Now some of the new ones are dying and I don't know what to do it eats the fruit flys in my house and I also have a grow light. It sits in a plate of water. Am I doing something wrong? please help.

It needs way more light. Sarrs also need a Winter dormancy for long term health.

The brown kinda looks like when you water your CPs using mineral water. What water are you using?

They need a lot more light, please tell us what water you are using and they may be in dormancy.

I am using distilled water and I live in Washington I use rain water or distilled I buy in stores but I will change it water thank you.

I just washed out the plants plate with fresh water. Also, I washed out the soil using rain water is there anything else I can do? I am waiting for spring to put it outside so I don't force it into winter dormancy. It's winter right now by the way.

I still think it's a light issue. Sarrs need A LOT of light. Most windowsill can not provide nearly enough light to keep them healthy. I'm not familiar with the light you are using but the way your leaves are growing seem to show they are not bright enough.

You can easily grow Sarrs outdoors year round where you live. I would move them outside as soon as your temps warm enough. It's too late in the year to let them go dormant IMO. Even if you move them outdoors now, they would probably be better off. Start with a hour of direct sunlight then add more time slowly or you may end up with burned pitchers.

It's mostly cloudy and there is no direct sunlight. Are they going to die?
