I've had this guy for a few months now and it's been doing well. Probably has doubled in size. Well it got a little with funk on top of the spag it was planted in so I repotted it. I peeled all the old spag off it vary gently. I was surprised to see how few roods where in there. I was just a little cluster of fuzz like roots. I was expecting more, longer and thicker roots.
I planted it in a 1.1.1 spag, peat and perlite. I just wondering how it look to more experienced Nep growers.

That pot should give it plenty of room. Media looks dry though. Do you know what kind of nep you have? Some species have huge root systems, others have almost none.

Best guess is it's a N.Ventrata

It dues look a bit dry but is moist to the touch. I put a little water in the tray under it to let the spag soak up some extra water. Ill dump out whatever is left when I get home from work tomorrow.
