Is that a rhizome and if it is, can i re pot it in the same pot with the venus fly trap that i got the rhizome form.

It is a rhizome, and yea you could, but as they grow older they will out out more plantlets off that rhizome, so in time you'll want to divide. Just think ahead.

Ok dont really know what you mean by it will out out more plantlets off that rhizome im a beginner at all this stuff.
I know what a rhizome is but is it a living thing by itself?

Over time that plant will divide and more plants will grow from it. Basically your one plant will turn into many over its lifetime so pick a pot that will be large enough for it to expand out into. At least 4 inches deep but taller is even better.

Think of the rhizome as a staircase going up. Older it gets the more "steps" it makes, each step will be a new plant.

Yes. As the name "plantlets" implies, they look like very small versions of the adult plant.
