Hi Guys!!
I have 4 seedlings of venus fly trap and cape sundew. I want to acclimatise them to lower humidity.
The venus fly trap seedlings have 1 carnivorous trap. The humidity inside the zip lock bag is 100% and in my grow area it is 20%(as per the hygrometer I have)
I really want to acclimatise them to lower humidity. The sundew seedlings have paused growth, but why? After they reached a specific size they stopped growth?

Please answer my questions about humidity acclimatisation and growth.

Hi Vibhuti,

It's a little early to begin stressing your VFT seedlings so go very slowly with your reduction of humidity. When covered with a bag, I have found the best way to control it is to gradually add holes to the bag. You can begin by snipping the corner off of the bag or cutting a single small hole elsewhere near the top. Even a single hole can reduce the humidity quite a bit so start small and work your way up.

I don't know why your sun dews have paused their growth. I think they might slow down once they've reached a certain size, but I've never paid attention to mine.
