Hi! I don't really post on here. I'm a lurker lol, but I figured I should get more active within the community since I've really fallen in love with CP's and all of you nice people :)

This is my first VFT and my first dormancy and I'd say Seymour and I are doing okay :)
Accidentally froze him on Christmas, but that's really been our only problem lol

Well welcome! I've froze most of my fly traps before too. It looks kind of unsightly after, but they usually bounce back just fine.

On a side note, you may want to think about repotting into a bigger pot when Seymour starts to wake up in the spring.

Hi aliciag! What conditions are you keeping it in? I can see the signs of freezing, but it also looks to be actively growing.

Hi xr280xr! I have it outside and temperatures are between 30-50 degrees F. I bring it inside when temperatures drop. Daylight lasts from about 7AM-5PM. Watering once the soil looks almost dry using the tray method.

I don't think it's growing because growth has slowed significantly and traps are for the most part unresponsive or very slow.
