Actually gray, those bamboo were the first thing I put in , months and months ago. They were in my 10 gallon when I started late this summer. I did do my research and found half and half in terms of people's success. They do great! Growing fine and no rot any where

I used washed beach sand and eco-complete black medium, for planted tanks.

My betta might be on his way out, due to a cyst, he is actin normal, just wanted to go out of my way for him and spoil him

Remember this is not done it's crowded, I just haven't had time to set my others up
