In NYC we just got our first batch of snow. Meanwhile I am scared shitless my sarracenia will die. I remember seeing certain pitchers later in the year and now all of my pitchers are gone. Should I bring them inside?

My plants have been frozen since Tuesday night and they're only just starting to wilt now. I'd thaw them out but it's supposed to get above freezing today finally.

As for how many pitchers the plants have, it's different for each species. Some plants will drop all their pitchers before winter, while others keep their pitchers until spring. Harsh winter weather can cause more pitchers to die back than normal, but the plant should be fine. Just don't let the pots stay frozen for too long. My rule is: if the plant starts wilting, it needs to be thawed out.
