Hello, I am back as a 2nd year grower. I am happy to say that all my plants survived my first dormancy. I had them wrapped up in a trash bag and left in my attic for 2 months. I decided to repot them all into 1 large community pot. My wife did not like having 6 small pots just sitting around the yard. They are in 100% LFSM. That's how my King Henry came to me last year from flytrapstore so I didn't want to change anything. The pot is 16" diameter by 16" deep. It took about $50 of LFSM to fill it! I think I will post picture updates every few weeks to share with all of you. Enjoy

well its been 2 months since my first pictures and the traps are now starting to grow. Weather has been gloomy and rather cold here, so they are off to a slow start. My King Henrys in the middle of the pot are just now starting to put up their first traps of the year. I also added 2 pitcher plants to my collection. Wasn't sure what to pot them in so I just followed my procedure for VFTs and put them in 100% LFSM. I water the pitchers everyday as my understanding of them is they like it wetter than VFTs.

Peak growing season. The King Henrys in the middle started growing and claimed their position at the top of the food chain. The 2 year old Ginormous/B52 hybrid, on the left is producing bigger traps however.

that pitcher plant looks great, the purple in it! And those traps are going to outgrow that pot the way they are going.
