Here is a recent update, having just re-plated what seemed like dozens of vials. Time for wine. That wad of Nepenthes goodness, on experimental media, is about the size of a Titleist, if not a bit larger . . .

Thanks all . . .

In response to the MS question, I have used dilute versions of that media -- 1:3 or 1:4; Knudsen; as well as some proprietary mixtures of my own.

The above cultures were begun from seed; but some others were started from meristematic tissue . . .

Thanks, and very cool. It's rare finding someone who's successfully cultured nepenthes from an explant.

Thanks . . .

The cultures are several months old; and some of them have been serially sub-cultured from even older cultures -- some, two years old . . .
