I used this for my Ventrata(http://www.homedepot.com/p/Mosser-Lee-1 ... /202745063). It said on the bag, "Great for orchids". So, because it was all the bark they had at the time & because it said on the bag, "Great for orchids!". I decided to use it. But, I feel, it might be hazardous(Has too many minerals in it), for the cps. Is it safe to use or no? :-)

It should be safe to use, yes. That bark is said to be harvested from Fir trees, the bark of which is commonly used in growing mediums of carnivorous plants like nepenthes.

However, nepenthes do tend to have a higher tolerance of soil and water minerals than flytraps. Even though it should be safe I would keep an eye on the flytrap for a little while. Also you should only use the bark as a component of an entire mix, not as a potting medium itself.
