Just received my starter sized Scarlatine and young FTS Archangel. The Scarlatine is definitely my new favorite flytrap! More amazing in real life. Both came with a plethora of plants :) Thank you so much, Matt!

just my opinion I would not have unpotted them. They were so perfectly potted. There was no need to divide yet. Wait until the pot gets to full then divide. You would of had much more divisions.

The store just potted them into those pots before they were shipped and the shipping puts them in a little bit of stress so if you unpot them and divide while they are stressed you could put them into much more stress. I leaned that the hard way. I repoted one I got and it took 1.5 months to adapt

Hi Alex,

I appreciate the tips and advice. However, I have had greater luck than you in the past. I have done this to four starter sized plants and had nearly 100% success. Not sure if our growing conditions differ. Keep in mind that I am not "breaking" any of the rhizomes apart. They are all individual plants with roots
