Hey guys

I bought some sand today and immediately repotted some vft in a peat sand mix. I did this cause i thought it had a low mineral content. It is called zilverzand(silver sand) and i read on the internet that it contained a low ammount of minerals. So i bought it. But after repotting i began to search again and found some people that say that it contains a lot of minerals! Is there any way to know without tds meter?

Thanks

I use silver sand, just make sure it is lime free.

Put some in a bowl and cover it with vinegar. If it bubbles, there's lime in it.
