So, as you can see, the new tenant in my indoor set up is getting a lot of the attention by anything with wings, and don't even TOUCH the other 1 D:

I counted 48 gnats on my prim. ridiculous and I actually have to transfer from him to my bugbane so he gets food!

Lots of water, and very little direct sunlight is the key I think. With the right amount of light they get nice purple veins on the leaves, while too much will turn them yellowish and eventually start burning.

I've been having trouble with my Prim, what's your soil mix? Do you keep them in standing water? If so how much?

Thanks!

It's so odd yet humbling being able to ACTUALLY help others haha, just getting lucky actually I believe. I'm not gunna lie, I just wing it in terms of what i use. When I get home I'll take a look and decide what % I use. I do know it'd peat and perlite. Nothing else. But I'm almost certain it's 50% each. And I don't let the sit in water at all. I haven't watered it at all actually. There in a dome, all of my plants are. Just trial and error, and so far, they love me!

Haha, your Pings look gorgeous so I had to ask. I'm using 1:1:1 peat, perlite, and vermiculite and leaving them in about an inch of standing water. My Caerulea looks great but my Prim looks wilted (even the new growth) and soggy somewhat.

Looking great! They don't self-seed, but sometimes old flower stalks will grow plantlets on them.

I've had mine for ~ a year now, and they constantly flower once they're happy. Pretty vigorous in a generic peat mix with lots of sand.
