Hello everybody,

I am undergoing research to create a "lawn" of drosera species to control humidity in a stabilized environment. I am critically low on funds: can anybody spare some D. adelae seeds to help me out with my research? I would appreciate it if anybody could help me out. Thank you!

I doubt there's many people with Adelae seeds to spare, the plant isn't as proliferous as others. People usually sell leaf cuttings/divisions. You might want to try another drosera that produces many seeds like Capensis or Spatulata.

Thanks to all recommendations. Does anyone have any of these Sub-tropical Drosera Species seeds lying around?:
D. nidiformis
D. natalensis
D. dielsiana
D. intermedia
D. madagascariensis
D. tokaiensis
D. intermedia
D. collinsiae
D. capillaris

I would really really appreciate if anybody could help a poor researcher out!
Thank you!

Capensis will create a perfect little lawn and it's probably the easiest subtropical to grow

Actually, D. capensis is a destructive weed that blocked sunlight for my now dead D. indica seedlings. It crowded my entire pot. For beginners and people who want a crowded area, this species is the best choice (its "indestructable") ,but for people who only want a very few plants, this species is not meant for you.

^You could always remove/repot the Capensis out of the way. For me the Indica are growing twice as fast as the Capensis seedlings in the pot and it seems like they will be the ones overshadowing the Capensis.
