I tend to agree with DrNo7.
I've been using a mix of 2 tablespoons safer brand neem oil per gallon of distilled water. It's just the brand that was in the store when I went, nothing special to me about it. I use the diluted mix to top water Drosera Capensis, Sarracenia Purpurea, and Pinguicula Gigantea with and it doesn't seem to be too strong.
I don't have experience using it long term as I am a beginner. I'm using it now in an attempt to get rid of fungus gnat larvae. My plants are doing much better with the neem mix (it's been about 2 weeks) but I've learned that killing pests with neem is a slow process (in my experience with other non CP, like tomatoes). Since the plants are doing much better since using the neem mix to top water with, I'd say fungus gnat larvae are harder on my plants than the neem has been. It's all relative, I guess!
