Hello everyone I got my first nepenthe today I'm so exited.i got a n. Maxima x alata. I potted up to day and put it in a window I hope it lives. Does anyone have any tips

I always hydrate pitchers from new plants. In most cases you will likely lose them as it's adjusting to its new home, but will grow new ones when its acclimated

In the window it's way to big for my terrarium it's maybe 12 inches wide with like a 8 inch pitcher I'll get a pic tonight I couldn't get into my photobucket account last night

Just curious. It should grow just fine as a windowsill plant given it parentage.

I think his humidity is a bit higher than yours but it should be fairly well hardened off.

Should acclimate just fine if left be and given good light.

I can tell positively from the pic. Is it TC , SG or a RC?
